The Bhavnagar University, established in 1978, offers graduation and post graduation programs. There are also many professional courses and Ph.D. programs that are offered by Bhavnagar University.

The Bhavnagar University was founded in the year 1978. The University covers a campus area of about 3 kilometers. There are a number of facilities and amenities offered to the students. The university is facilitated with well-equipped libraries, which helps in the growth of Bhavnagar Education.

University of Bhavnagar offers education in the subjects of Arts, Science, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering, Management, Law and Rural Studies. The university has learned academicians as faculties.
