Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal or MANIT belongs to the elite group of National Institutes of Technologies in India. This institute for technical education in India has been recognized as an ‘Institute of National Importance’. It is 1 among the 8 Regional Colleges of Engineering or RECs that has been set up in India to give a boost to technology and engineering education. It was previously called the Maulana Azad College of Technology or MACT. With more than 4000 students and 200 faculty members, this engineering institute in India at present has been successful in producing skilled and talented manpower of top quality who can face the challenges and developing needs of the industries in the country.

The campus of the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal is conveniently located in central Bhopal atop a beautiful plateau and spreads over 650-acres of land. The institute is equipped with 8 hostels with good lodging and fooding facilities and twenty four hours security, Computer Centre, Workshops, Athletic Ground, Canteen, Energy Centre and the open air auditorium etc which helps the students of MANIT not only to develop academically but ensure an all round development of the personality of the students. The institute is a joint venture of the Madhya Pradesh Government and the Govt. of India.
