Kota Open University

Established in 1987, the Kota Open University supports the open learning system, which has a much flexible approach towards imparting education. This Open University in Kota aims to provide education to those willing to pursue higher education either on a part-time or distance learning basis.

The university have opened new vista as the courses are not rigidly limited to certain age groups. This allow students with gap year or break in the chain of education, continue to get degrees, diplomas and certificates that are fully recognized by the government being at par with conventional universities.

The enrolled students of Kota Open University studying in distance learning mode get full support and guidance through the regional study centers, written and audio materials and syllabus based television and radio sessions. The university enjoys jurisdiction in the whole of Rajasthan and operates through 24 such study centers and 6 regional centers in Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Kota and 1 special center in New Delhi.
