Saurashtra University, Rajkot houses 28 different education departments. The Saurashtra University of Rajkot came into existence in the year 1967 under the apt guidance of Mr. Dolar Rai Mankad who was the then Vice Chancellor. Today, Saurashtra University affiliates around 207 number of colleges located across the length and breadth of Gujarat state.
