Kota is rich with the ancient heritage of Rajasthan state of India. Being established in 12th century AD, Kota boasts of an old and time tested history which went through the rules of many a great Rajput warriors.

Today Kota city is considered as a progressive industrial place of Rajasthan. Hence, people from various adjoining villages and cities are often found migrating to Kota in search of job opportunities.
