Jhalawar
The district of Jhalawar lies in the south eastern part of Rajasthan besides the Malwa plateau. The district covers an area of 6,219 sq. km. The district of Jhalawar constitutes a population of 11,80,342.
Blessed with the highest rainfall in the state, Jhalawar is known for its dense forests and high agricultural productivity which includes soyabean, citrus, opium, wheat and dhania. The district is also industrially developed with the District Industrial Corporation overlooking matters related to industries.
Jhalawar also has many places of tourist interests like the Jhalawar Fort, Museum and Jhalara Patan, apart from the natural beauty of the place which is a boon for travelers.
