Suneil Shetty



Suneil Shetty is one of the most well built and skilled actors in the Mumbai Film Industry. He was born on 11th August 1961, in Mangalore situated in the Indian district of Karnataka.

As Suneil Shetty had a stout physique, he was best suited to portray a tough action-hero on the silver screen. As a matter of fact, he started off his career as an action hero with the movie named Balwaan. This movie released in 1992. Although, the first couple of steps of his professional career were a bit bumpy, he achieved commercial success with Rajiv Rai’s ‘Mohra’. This movie had released in 1994 and was a big hit.

This Bollywood hero was again blessed with commercial success with another action-thriller named ‘Anth’ that was released in 1995. After that came JP Dutta’s Border in the year 1997, that gave a new direction to his career.
His character of Capt. Bhairav Singh was widely appreciated and fetched him a couple of ‘Best Supporting Actor’ accolades as well.

Then in the year 2000, came one of his biggest hits, Priyadarshan’s Hera Pheri. In this movie Suneil Shetty of Bollywood tried his hand at comedy and did exceedingly well. The movie was a huge blockbuster and made Suneil Shetty from Bollywood a complete actor.

Apart from acting, this action star from India also has a black belt in full contact kick boxing as well. He is married to his wife Mana and has two kids, daughter Atiya and son Aahan. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Action star Suneil Shetty also owns a children’s gaming parlor named Astro Mischief.
