Rivers In Bundi



Bundi is a small town in Rajasthan. Set amongst the foot hills of Aravalli Mountain, the town is famous for its forts and monuments. There are not many rivers in Bundi.

The main Bundi Rivers include Chambal and Kushal. The Chambal River dissects the two districts of Bundi and Kota and forms the southern boundary of the Bundi District. The Chambal River, apart from being one of the major Bundi Rivers, also drains other districts of Kota

The Chambal River of Dhaulpur is the tributary of the Yamuna River. The Chambal River originates from the southern slope of Vindhya River in Madhya Pradesh.

The river then flows through the Rajasthan and then empties itself in the Yamuna River of Uttar Pradesh. The main tributary of the Chambal River is Banas which is also one of the major rivers of Rajasthan. The other tributaries of Chambal include

Chambal River is not only the Perennial River among the rivers of Bundi but among the rivers of Rajasthan. The length of the river is 165 km. Chambal River flows about 376 km in Rajasthan. The major town of Keshoral Patan lies on the bank of the Chambal River. Kushal River is also another small river in Bundi.
