About Hyderabad Passport Office

The Hyderabad Passport Office was started in 1976. It was separated from the Passport Office in Madras in order to cater to the needs of the public of Andhra Pradesh. Initially, the Regional Passport Office in Hyderabad was functioning at a small scale. At present, the office is situated in Secunderabad. The office is extended to three floors occupying an area of 60,432 sq. ft. An idea of building a residential complex inside the premises of this office was also proposed.
