Rajiv Gandhi International Airport or Shamshabad Airport is the only airport in the city of Hyderabad and takes care of the domestic operations as well. The advantageous location of this airport is such that maximum number of Indian cities can be reached within 2 hours by flight.

The main entry points to the airport are from National Highway NH-7 and Srisailam State Highway. NH-7 is located in the west to the airport and Srisailam State Highway is situated in the east close to Outer Ring Road (ORR). You can travel to the airport in 30 minutes using the 11.6 km extended elevated expressway that starts from city center continuing to the six lanes NH-7 road.

You can also avail the services of the Mono Rail Transport System (MRTS) and Multi-Modal Transportation System (MMTS) to reach Hyderabad Airport.
