Amritsar, the holiest city of the Sikhs, has constantly been a precursor in the field of education. DAV stands for Dayanand Anglo Vedic (school). The DAV International School in Amritsar is managed by the DAV College Trust and Management Society. It was founded in Lahore in the year 1885.
