Shiv Shankar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Amritsar

The Shiv Shankar Institute of Engineering and Technology is situated in Patti in Amritsar. It is one of the reputed colleges and institutes in Amritsar dedicated to imparting technical knowledge to the students of engineering and technology.
The eminent institute was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of the SBS Society. The institute is affiliated to the PTU in Jalandhar and has been approved by the government of Punjab and the AICTE.

  • Each department of the institute has 60 seats of which 40 are open to the students who have qualified their higher secondary examination with the subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics. 20 other seats of the institute are reserved for the students chosen by the management board directly. Shiv Shankar Institute of Engineering and Technology in Amritsar awards its students the degree of Bachelor of Technology.
