Kolkata Police

Kolkata Police is working dedicatedly to make the city of Kolkata free from crime and other anti-social activities. Their mission is to make Kolkata, The 'City of Joy' of West Bengal a safe and secured city. There are about 48 police stations in Kolkata now with 5 divisions. Surendranath Chatterjee is known to be India's first Police Commissioner.
