17. Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir is a former cricketer and an Indian politician. He successfully captained Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils in IPL. The power of Gautam Gambhir lies in the fact that he is one among the four international cricketers to score 100 consecutively in five Test Matches. Additionally, he scored more than 300 runs in 4 consecutive Test series. As per 2018, Gambhir was the highest 6th run scorer for India by marking his victory in Twenty20 Internationals. In 2019, he was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India. Recently, on joining India’s right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Gautam Gambhir won in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, representing East Delhi Constituency in the parliament.
