20. Kailasavadivoo Sivan
Dr. K. Sivan is famously known as the “Rocket Man” for developing cryogenic engines for India’s space programme. He is one of the most eminent Indian space scientists. Currently, he is the 9th chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Sivan has been awarded many a times. Recently, in 2018, he was honored with Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Being a scientist, he is also known for publishing a book titled as Integrated Design for Space Transportation System, in 2015.
