30. Nirmala Sitharaman
She is an Indian politician, born on August 18, 1959. Nirmala Sitharaman did her graduation from Seethalakshmi Ramaswamy College. Thereafter, she moved to Delhi for pursuing her higher education from JNU. At present she is serving as the Minister of Finance and as Minister of Corporate Affairs. She was the country’s second woman defence minister after Indira Gandhi. Sitharaman is attached with the BJP since 2006. She also functioned as the former Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Finance and Corporate Affairs. Although she is from a pro-Congress family, yet she preferred to join BJP.
