51. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is a significant Indian cricketer, currently holding the position of captain in Indian Cricket Team. He is known for his unique record of scoring the fastest century by an Indian batsman. A naturally aggressive batsman, Kohli is looked upon as the next big thing in Indian cricket after Tendulkar. In IPL he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore, and has been serving as the team captain since 2013. Meanwhile, he is ranked as a top batsman in ODI rankings. Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) has rated Kohli as the world’s most famous athlete. Forbes magazine had identified Kohli as one of the most important athlete brands in the world. Being an Indian batsman Kohli has always maintained his prestigious position by obtaining best ever ratings: (937 points) in Test rating, (897 points) in T20I rating and (911 points) ODI ratings. Recently, in 2018 he has been honoured with Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy as ICC Cricketer of the Year, ICC Test Player of the Year 2018. Additionally, for 2012, 2017 and 2018 he won ICC ODI Player of the Year award. Other than these, whether its Padma Shri, Arjuna Award or Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Kohli has got them all in his bucket which is full of awards.
