28. Nandan Nilekani
An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Nandan Nilekani is a famous Indian bureaucrat and entrepreneur. Moreover, he is a co-founder of the Indian technology company Infosys, and its non-executive chairman since December. 2017. In 2014, he was one of the richest candidates to have contested during Lok Sabha elections 2014. As per some estimates, Nilekani is worth around Rs 14,700 crores in 2019. The man who rolled out the UID campaign, which delivered more than 121 crore biometric Aadhaar cards in the country by July 2018, is revered for his expertise in implementing e-Governance projects. After the success of UID Campaign, the ex-Infosys chief has started incubating ideas to bring reforms in the Indian education system, especially the primary education. He is also a member of the advisory boards of several research institutions, think tanks and the World Economic Forum.
