Naresh Trehan Biography

As a child Dr.Naresh Trehan lived at Connaught Place in a three-room apartment.
Trehan’s parents were well known doctors in Pakistan but the Partition made them refugees in New Delhi.

Since childhood he was keen on learning new things. He did his MBBS from KG Medical College, Lucknow (1968).

He met his wife Madhu who is a journalist at the age of 16. Trehan is happily married with two daughters.

He started practicing heart surgery under the guidance of Dr. Frank Spencer at New York University and is now one of India’s leading cardiologists.

As Executive Director and Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon of Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, Trehan, he performs a large number of surgeries every month.
