Achanta Sharath Kamal Biography
Achanta Sharath Kamal is one of those talented table tennis players of India who have made a mark for themselves in the international arena. Born in the year 1982 in Tamil Nadu, Achanta Sharath Kamal works for Indian Oil Corporation.
Having proved his table tennis skills in many tournaments, he made India proud by bagging the gold medal in 2006 Commonwealth Games which was organized in Melbourne. Winning the National Champion in 2003, he also won the gold medal in the Men’s Singles of Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship in 2004. The meet was held in Kuala Lumpur.
The 2006 tournament also proved to be a great reason to rejoice for Achanta Sharath Kamal as the Indian team bagged a gold medal in the same. As a prominent and successful player, he has participated in several national and international championships, some of which are mentioned below:
