Gaurav Ghei Biography
Gaurav Ghei is a renowned golf player of India and has made impressions with his performance, especially on the Asian Tour. Born on 25 September, 1968, he started playing golf professionally from 1991 onwards.Currently residing in New Delhi, the golf player Gaurav Ghei is married with one child.
The fame of Gaurav Ghei is largely due to his three Asian titles, including the Gadgil Western Masters in November 1995, the Taiwan Masters in 2006 and in the Beijing Open 2007. He also became the first of the Indian golfers who qualified through tough sectional events for the prestigious British Open Championship and played at Royal Troon Golf Course.
He was the proud winner of the Desaru Classic in 1994 and the Asian Nations Cup in 1999, both held in Malaysia. The renowned golfer made ripples in the sports world in 1996 when he defeated the veteran golf player Colin Montgomerie in the Alfred Dunhill Cup.
