Esha Deol Biography

Esha Deol is a Bollywood actress. Born on November 2, 1982, she is the daughter of Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She has a younger sister Ahana. She is also half sister to actors Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol.

Esha Deol was a student of Jamnabhai Narsee School. Esha Deol was trained in Indian classical dance by her mother who is an accomplished dancer herself. She is tri-lingual and speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Tamil fluently.

Her first film ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’ did not do well at the box office but her acting skills were noticed by all. She acted in a number of films for the next two years but could not deliver a commercial success. Her perseverance paid off and she starred in the superhit Bollywood film ‘Dhoom'(2004).

The film ‘Kaal’ was her second hit. The film was directed by Karan Johar-an accomplished Bollywood film director and co-produced by Shahrukh Khan .

Esha Deol was nominated for portraying a negative role in ‘Ankahee’ for the Star Screen Awards.
