Preeti Jhangiani Biography

Preeti Jhangiani is a talented Indian actress and model. She was born on 18th August 1980. Preeti Jhangiani entered into the show biz with Rajshri’s video album ‘Yeh Hai Prem’ and later moved on to films. She featured in Altaf Raja’s first album ‘Tum To Tahre Pardesi’, in the song Sharabi, in 1996.

She started her film career with South Indian films and acted in movies like Thammudu and Mazhavillu (1999). Her debut film in Bollywood was Mohabbatein(2000), which was a great hit.

It was a star studded film with stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, five other debutantes acted in the film;Shamita Shetty, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma and Jimmy Shergill. The film was a huge hit and set her film career rollling. It was followed by Awara Paagal Deewana, a comedy.

Her subsequent movies include: Chand Ke Paar Chalo (2006), Ssukh (2005), Chaahat Ek Nasha (2005), Chehraa (2005), LOC Kargil (2003), Annarth (2002), Waah! Tera Kya Kehna (2002), Awara Paagal Deewana (2002),Mohabbatein (2000).

This talented actor loves browsing the web and listening to music. Her motto in life is,”Go for your dreams and live and let live.” She got married to actor Parvin Dabas in 2008, and together they have two children, Jaiveer and Dev.
