Amroha is a beautiful town located in the northwestern part of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. This town is also the administrative headquarters of the district of Jyotiba Phule Nagar. Located on the banks of Sot River, Amroha has several tourist spots which are worth paying a visit. Some of them are Muradabadi Darwaza, Tulsi Park and Dargah Hazrath Shah Abban Badr Chishti to name a few amongst others.

According to 2001 census, Amroha has a total population of about 164,890. Harish Nagpal (IND) won the 2004 election from the Amroha Parliamentary Constituency.
