2011 Cricket World Cup England Team

Team England is considered as one of the strong teams in international cricket. The team has been performing consistently since decades now. It is said that cricket was founded in England and hence the country is one of the oldest players of the game. England has a fairly good past record as it reached three cricket world cup finals in 1979, 1989 and 1992 but did not manage to clinch the world cup.

The England cricket has quite a number of strong bowler's batsman and all rounder's. Although the team could not do much in the last few years but still cricket experts hope that the team will perform to their best in the 2011 world cup. The England cricket team is placed in group B of the upcoming mega sports events and is expected to face teams like Netherlands, India, Ireland, Bangladesh and West Indies
