The town of Nizamabad is situated in south India in the state of
Andhra Pradesh. The
Nizamabad Parliamentary Constituency is also a municipal corporation in the Nizamabad District. The district is situated in the Telangana region. The
Nizamabad Parliamentary Constituency is one of the 36 mandals of the district.
According to the 2001 census, the city has a population of around 286,956. The population comprises 51 percent males and 49 percent females. The INC party has won nine times from this seat.
