The town of
Narasaraopet is a mandal and town located in the India state of
Andhra Pradesh. The Narasaraopet Parliamentary Constituency is located in the
Guntur District. There are a number of attractions around the town like Kotappakonda. This is an important pilgrimage center for devotees of Lord Shiva. The Narasaraopet Parliamentary Constituency is also a municipality.
According to 2001 Census, the population of Narasaraopet is around 95,002. Males constitute 50 percent of the population while females comprise rest of the 50 percent.
