Rajahmundry Parliamentary Constituency

Lying along the left bank of the Godavari River, the town of Rajahmundry is located in East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. Rajahmundry Parliamentary Constituency is the largest town of the district. Rajahmundry Parliamentary Constituency has a population of 653,987 (2001 census). Males and females share almost equal proportion. Rajahmundry is famous for the rail-cum-road bridge on the Godavari River. The bridge, connecting the town with Kovvur, is the largest in Asia.
