The town of Miryalguda is in the state of Andhra Pradesh in south India. The Miryalguda Parliamentary Constituency is located in the Nalgonda district. It is also a major commercial hub in the Telangana region. The Miryalguda Parliamentary Constituency is known for its paddy cultivation and is one of the best five paddy markets in the state.

The population of Miryalguda is around 90,247 citizens. Females comprise 49 percent while males comprise 51 percent of the population. The INC party has won successively from 1996 to 2004 from here.
