Summary of Manipur Election 2014
The general election 2014 was held in the state of Manipur in two phases. Outer Manipur got inked on 9 April 2014, while the Inner Manipur constituency voted on 17 April 2014.
Phase I polling
The first phase of voting in the state of Manipur was conducted on 9 April 2014 at 1406 polling stations for the lone LS seat of Outer Manipur. Total 8,99,626 eligible electors were expected to vote on the day, of which 4,44,659 were male while 4,54,967 were female. The fate of 10 candidates sealed in the EVMs was disclosed on 16 May 2014.

Phase II polling
On 17 April 2014, polling was conducted at 1,406 polling booths for the Inner Manipur LS constituency. Out of total 8,74,704 eligible electors, 4,26,752 were male while 4,47,952 were female. In this election phase, total 8 candidates including one woman were in the fray.
