About Pondicherry Assembly Election 2016 Results

The union territory of Puducherry will go to polls in a single phase on 16 May, 2016 to select representatives from 30 constituencies in Pondicherry, Yanam, Mahe and Karaikal. Chief minister N. Rangasamy and his party, the AINRC, will be looking to consolidate its support base in this election. Queering the pitch for AINRC will be other major contenders such as the Congress, DMK and PWF. Counting of votes will take place on 19 May, 2016.
