Siddipet, lying between Hyderabad and Karimnagar on Rajeev Highway, is the largest town in the Medak district of Andhra Pradesh.

Siddipet (SC) Parliamentary Constituency has a population of 121,469 (2001 census). Males comprise 50% of the total population and females consist of the rest of the 50% of total population.

Late Ch Rajeshwar Rao, Late A. Madan Mohan. Chandrashekar Rao are some of the most eminent leaders from Siddipet (SC) Parliamentary Constituency. The seat is reserved for the SC candidates only.
