Rosera city is situated in the state of Bihar in eastern India. The Rosera (SC) Parliamentary Constituency is located in the district of Samastipur. This constituency is reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates. The Rosera (SC) Parliamentary Constituency is also a municipality in the district.

According to the census of 2001, the population of the city is around 27,494. The population comprises 53 percent males and 47 percent females.
