Vidisha Parliamentary Constituency was also known as Besnagar and Bhelsa. It is located near the city of Bhopal in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.Vidisha Parliamentary Constituency is the headquarters of the Vidisha district.
The town has a population of 125,457 residents according to the 2001 census. Males comprise 53 percent of the population while 47 percent are females. The BJP party has won from here since 1989.
