St. Stephen's Cut off 2020

St. Stephens college has finally released its much anticipated first cut-off list. The cut-off list has increased marginally in several courses this year, as the number of students securing more than 95% in their respective boards has soared compared to last year. The cut-off for BA English (Hons) has zoomed to 98.75% for commerce and science, and 98.25% for humanities. To pursue English (Hons), the student also needs 90 percent in English Core, or 85% in English Elective. The Economics (Hons) cut-off is 98.75% for commerce students, and 98.5% for humanities; for science students, it's slightly lower at 97.75%. For admission in Economics (Hons), a student additionally needs at least 92% in maths, up from 90% last year.

Those applying for History (Hons) need 98.5% from science and commerce, and 97.25% from humanities stream students. The cut-off for Sanskrit remains at 65% for all streams, same as last year (Sanskrit compulsory till class 10). While for Mathematics, it is 97.75% for science students, 97.5% for commerce, and 96.75% for humanities students (Maths to be included in Best of Four). The cut-off for BA programme for humanities students has soared to 96.5%, while for commerce and science students it remains at 98%.
